That high voltage keeps the current low, so you don’t overload the control wiring. The length is 300mm—not by accident. It focuses the infrared energy into a tight zone that lines up with the printing path. One thing to know: this isn’t plug-and-play. The 400V input needs a dedicated high-voltage supply. You can’t just wire it into a standard 220V outlet. What’s inside, and why it matters. The carbon fiber filament sits inside a quartz tube, often with a gold coating. That coating bounces infrared energy back onto the target, which boosts efficiency and shortens warm-up time. Connection-wise, it uses an R7s connector. It’s built for high heat and gives you a solid, two-ended electrical fit that locks into the machine’s reflector assembly.
