What Makes It Tick
Here’s the thing: this lamp is built around a powerful halogen core that blasts out shortwave infrared. That means rapid heating, pure and simple. We run it at 400V, which lets us pack a lot of power into a short, 300mm tube. So you get serious heat density without taking up a ton of room. At 2500W, it’s tuned to ramp up fast. But that power comes with a note: your machine’s cooling and airflow have to be on the same page. It gets hot. In a tight space, that ambient heat builds up, so plan your electrical budget for the full load.
The Built-In Details
The carbon fiber element is there for stiffness and thermal stability. The halogen fill keeps the filament clean at high temps, so the output stays consistent over time. We chose a quartz envelope because it can handle the heat and lets the infrared energy through cleanly. And the reflective coating on the lamp body? It pushes the energy forward, cutting down wasted heat and making your process more repeatable. For hookup, it uses an R7s connector. It’s a proven, compact fit for these tubular lamps, giving you a secure, low-resistance connection. In most standard fixtures, it’s a straightforward drop-in replacement.
Where It Shines
