Introduction
We built these twin tube IR carbon fiber heating lamps for one reason: you need serious heat, packed into a small space. The idea is simple. Two quartz tubes, side by side, each holding a carbon fiber filament. The result? Fast, focused infrared heat that hits hard where you need it most.
The Inside Story
Here’s the thing about these lamps—they’re all about balance. Power, voltage, and length have to work together. We chose a 400V rating because it gives you the wattage you need without pushing the current through the roof. That keeps wire sizes reasonable and the connections at the socket from getting stressed out. And the twin tube setup? It doubles the heat-emitting surface within the same length. So you get way more output without having to redesign your equipment to fit it.
What Makes Them Tick
Carbon fiber filaments are the real deal. They run hot, stay stable, and don’t sag like old-school wire elements tend to do. The quartz envelope? It takes the heat in stride and delivers a clean IR spectrum, so you get predictable, consistent heating. And the R7s connector is a direct-wire, bi-pin design that just snaps right into standard fixtures. No extra bases. No adapters. Just plug it in and go.
Where They Shine
These lamps are built for jobs where speed matters—curing, drying, plastic forming. The twin tube design spreads heat evenly across the target, and the whole thing is built tough enough to handle repeated heating and cooling cycles. Just one note—because they pack so much power into such a small space, you’ll want to make sure there’s enough cooling and clearance around the lamp. That way, nothing else gets too hot.
